2nd Sat. - Asian Fabric Club
Updated 11/14/08

The Asian Club will meet each month, on the 2nd Saturday, from 10 am to Noon, unless noted here or on The Quilt Man’s monthly Classes & Calendar page.

Step 1:

DECEMBER Gathering:

Happy Holidays everyone.....The Asian Fabric Club in October gave out 12 characters for the mystery quilt.    If you missed the meeting you can pick them up at the shop.  In December,  we will give out the next step.  Because December is a busy time we will not have an afternoon class.  However, you are always welcome to stay and sew on the quilt blocks (a great way to enjoy sewing with friends).

We will begin the next year with an afternoon class.   We will be making the little candy bag.   This is the small bag that was in the window.    I will give out the fabric needed at the Demember meeting.
Reminder:  these classes are free with the purchase of fabric.

I hope your Holidays will be joyful,  blessed and  time for some  stitches!

Please bring your show and tell and any past blocks.

Because this quilt is on going,  it will take about 2 yards of the background fabric.  You may want to get ahead.  I will be using white on white.

—————————

Everyone is welcome to take part in the Asian Club, at anytime.  The afternoon classes, after the club meeting, are FREE.  We only ask you to purchase the fabric you use (in most part) from The Quilt Man.

Remember to check for Saturdays during the month that may have no classes or clubs scheduled (check on the last Saturday of the months).  Check ahead of time with Chris, and if nothing is planned, you are free to come and bring your sewing and projects.  This is a “free time” of sewing and there are normally other people up here sewing.

More Information:

There are normally Asian Club afternoon class sessions on the same day, that are optional and are free unless otherwise noted.   This allows people the option to attend, given everyone’s schedules and needs.

There will be new patterns, fabric, fun & prizes.  There will be different things going on each month.

There is no fee* to join or attend the Asian Club, so remember to bring friends.

Please pay for fabric, books, and notions before taking them into the classroom.

***********

*The Quilt Man is offering the Asian Fabric Club as a free way of learning new things through a journey of Asia.  However, we have found it necessary to charge $1.00 for all patterns picked up after the class date and for each extra pattern.  There will be a $3.00 charge for replacement of pass ports if lost.

PS  Please remember your “Pass Port.”

Please check after yourself when you prepare to leave a class, etc., that you haven’t left any of your articles and possessions behind.  We try to save items for you if we know who they belong to (reminder to tag your items), but we can’t be responsible for items left behind.  We also remind you to keep your purse out of sight and to be responsible for it at all times.
